Cloudy eye
I have a 1 yr old ball python with one eye that looked dull compared to the other. I check after each shedding to make sure the eye caps come off, and so far there has been no problem on that. I am not too concerned, as he has been like this since I have gotten him, and he had just shed about an hour (or less) before we got him, and it all looked good. i was just curious and wondered if anyone else had a ball python with this situation, or had a possible reason for this

Several guesses:
1. Stuck shed you don't know that is still stuck.
2. Cataract
3. Genetically "dull" eye(probably not the case) :shrugs:
I work with a pine/bull snake which has a smaller/deformed eye compared to the other. It developed a cataract in the last 6 months. Sheds are always perfect. For definite verification, I'd see if a vet would examine it.

They can also scuff the scales on rough surfaces on occasion - I noticed this when I used some unglazed terracotta hides.

Maybe thats why. It seems to be clearer now than it used to be. It looks normal, it's just a little bit dull.
