I had a similar situation. You can take her to the vet for an x-ray or just leave her alone for a while so she can relax. They have 200-400 ribs and that's pretty much what they are made of totally. So it is very east to worry something bad happened. I would just look for bulges or strange movements first. This sort of thing does happen to them though and they seem to pull through quite alright. In a perfect world every accident we would take them in for a check up but it doesn't always happen like that unfortunately. My guess is that she is ok but I would still leave her alone for a while.

Thanks. She's moving around her cage fairly easily and not just sitting still.

Most likely she's fine. BP's by nature aren't climbing snakes, they primarily live underground and come out at night to hunt. So, they are big clutzes when it comes to staying on something (like you) that's upright and moving - it's almost like they have no concept that they can fall. A lot of mine don't even grip, they just hang limply and/or slide, very different from my boas and king snakes.

There's no need to panic. Like everyone said just keep an eye on her.
Chances are she'll be just fine.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. I'll keep an eye on her and I'm going to make sure she's never precariously balanced. I've wanted a snake for too long to have something happen to her now.
