How do I tell when my new BEL is going into blue?

I am a new caretaker of a 2 year old male BEL. I have only had normals before, and was always able to tell easily when it was almost shed time.
What will it be like with the BEL?
Are his humidity requirements basically the same as when I had normal balls?

You'll be able to tell just as easily. Eyes will turn blue like normal. He'll get a pinkish tint to him all over similar to the pink tint your normals belly gets when going into shed. Humidity is the same, yes.

When they're about to shed their stomach will turn pink. Also their body will be a little dull and pink. They require the same amount of humidity as any other BP.

Here's my Pied boy who's actually in the middle of his shed right now. See the pink?
