Bad Shed and Not Sure if She's Healthy

I got my first baby bp two weeks ago. After a couple days she started shedding in patches (particularly toward her head and only on her belly/low sides). She's been like this for a week and a half. Is this normal? Does it normally take this long? I've tried everything to keep humidity up in her tank (wet towel over the top, large water dish, misting a few times a day but it's been hard to keep it above 60% since I live in nevada and it's a very dry state. I even gave her a warm soaking bath with a wash rag but nothing seems to help. Below are some pictures of her and her cage.

it's not normal...skin should come off in one piece and the actual shedding of old skin shouldn't take more than a few hours. you may have bumped up the humidity too little too late. this should be done while the snake is in blue (pre-shed).
now that the old skin is broken, i don't think it will come off on it's own. you can either remove it by hand (soak first and be very gentle) or wait for the next shed cycle. one layer of stuck skin is not too harmful and will be problem solved on the next shed.

to help with your humidity issues, maybe you can use a non porous cover for the top so that no moisture can escape, at least for the duration of the shed cycle. if humidity is only at 60% despite your efforts, i can't imagine how low it must have been prior to you noticing the bad shed...
