    Pastel Enchi x Mystic

Well, as the title says, this is a Pastel Enchi x Mystic clutch. This was the first season of laying for the Pastel Enchi, and she did a great job, laid 9 eggs. All 9 eggs hatched out and so I put together a little collage to show the hatchlings under the same lighting conditions. I think I got the following:

Top Row: Mystic, Pastel Mystic, Pastel Mystic
Middle Row: Mystic, Pastel Enchi Mystic, Enchi Mystic
Bottom Row: Normal, Enchi, Pastel Enchi

Thanks guys. I was real pleased with the results. The Pastel Enchi Mystic is going to be my holdback (it's a female), so that's exciting!

So in talking with another breeder, I may have misidentified the first snake and the sixth snake. I have edited the collage to add numbers by each snake and then taken some additional side by side shots with the numbers from the collage placed by each snake.

Originally I thought the snakes were as follows:
    1 Female Mystic
    2 Male Pastel Mystic
    3 Female Pastel Mystic
    4 Female Mystic
    5 Female Pastel Mystic Enchi
    6 Female Mystic Enchi
    7 Male Normal
    8 Female Enchi
    9 Female Pastel Enchi

The other breeder thought that 1 is actually the Mystic Enchi, 6, is the Pastel Mystic Enchi and 5 may be either a Pastel Mystic or a Pastel Mystic Enchi. Based on the following comparison shot of 1 and 4, I think he was right that 1 is the Mystic Enchi.

1 and 4 look rather different from each other, and 4 looks like all 3 Mystics from the same Mystic male to a female Mojave.

Based on this picture, I think that both 5 and 6 are Pastel Mystic Enchis.

    1 is the Mystic Enchi
    3 is the Pastel Mystic
    4 is the Mystic
5 is the one I originally labeled as Pastel Mystic Enchi
6 is the Pastel Mystic Enchi
In this picture 5 is different from 3, but not the same as 6. In my eye, 5 is different from 3 in the same way that 1 is different from 4, which would make sense, since going from 4 to 1 would be adding the Enchi gene to the Mystic gene and from 3 to 5 would be adding the Enchi gene to the Pastel Mystic combination. I am wondering though if the differences between 5 and 6 are just the natural variation in the Pastel Mystic Enchi combination.
The final picture has the Pastel Mystic (3) with both Pastel Mystic Enchis (5 and 6).

    What do you guys think?
