500+ eggs!
Ok, so they aren't all ball pythons eggs =) But I hope everyone is having a great season so far!
Every single egg in the tub was personally collected from my own breeding animals, incubated and hatched by me!

Why do people keep hatched eggs?

Re: 500+ eggs!
I don't keep every single egg hatched- the tub is just small percentage. I'm not sure why others keep their eggs, but I use reptile eggs for educational presentations. It's amazing to see people who are scared of reptiles slowly get won over by curiosity and often it starts simply by holding a harmless reptile egg!

As someone else who has cured and 'stuffed' hatched eggs, I do it to have an example handy for nerdy friends and family when there's nothing in the incubator.

Cool collection. You have hatched a lot of eggs.

Do you just throw the freshly hatched eggs in a tub, or do you something to preserve them better? This sounds like a cool idea and I want to do it, I would imagine that at the bare minimum you have to wash them out?

I usually just do a quick rinse under water while brushing off any substrate, then just let the eggs air dry.
