    Spine pops when palpating

I just had a thought and wanted to make sure this is okay. When palpating our 2500g female, her spine cracked/popped on more than one occasion as she slithered through my fingers. Am I squeezing her too hard or is this okay?

I have that happen plenty often with my snakes; I figure it's similar to when we are stiff in the morning and everything is cracking when you get out of bed.
I wouldn't TRY to make it happen, as you wouldn't want to cause any damage, but I wouldn't worry about a few pops when you palpate. Only worry if she starts acting limp or has obvious poking-out ribs.

Thanks! I figured it was fine, but just wanted to check with experienced people just in case. (:
