Meet Bones (Progression Thread)

This is my new girl, Bones. She's an adult female, probably close to 4ft long. She belonged to someone who I guess decided she wasn't worth keeping after she laid a bunch of slugs and stopped eating. She's a sweetheart but she is really underweight. I brought her home a few days ago and it looks like she's going into shed, so hopefully she'll be good and hungry once she's done. Gonna keep you guys updated every step of the way.

Everything's looking good so far. When I was going to get her I didn't realize she had just laid and was worried that she might be sick but other than being underweight she seems healthy. I weighed her yesterday and she's sitting at around 1200g, so hopefully we have a good shed and can get her back on food.

She hasn't even shed yet but today is when I usually feed my boy so I gave it a shot. Live rat scented with mouse litter. I had a good feeling she would eat for me

Here she is with a nice big lump she's taken 3 meals now and is already looking better. Going to be picking up a tank for her this weekend. She's a really fun snake to handle because she's super inquisitive. Here's a picture of her perched in one of her favorite poses.

She also does this thing where she periscopes up from my hands and looks me dead in the eyes like a cobra. Definitely falling in love with this girl lol.

Moved bones into her new home. Nice to have her out where I can see her and not tucked under my bed.
