Pastel head nod?
Hey guys, I recently picked up a baby female Pastel BP and I noticed she has a little bit of head shake now and then, not the wobble, but she actually nods back and forth slightly when sitting still and breathing. Is this normal?

I have seen mine do this, even my normals, they will do it when they get excited, like when they smell/see food...and is different than the spider wobble, so I would guess your snake is ok...

is your snake doing it with a raised head? baby balls tend bob when they are excited, i think their bodies (especially the neck area) are still light enough that can be rocked by the raised heartbeat.

I have a couple special snakes that do weird things with their head. Just watch to make sure she isn't holding her mouth up to breathe. That is an early sign of respiratory infection.

Yeah pretty much. She'll sit there for a little bit acting like a king cobra and sway back and forth a little bit for a few minutes lol
Figured that was probably the reason, thanks!
