HerperPro Review
I keep track of all my bp information using an excel spreadsheet.. But this product looks awesome. I'd like to hear what users of the program think. Would you recommend it?

I use it. It is a 'good' software but right now there are some glitches and things that make it a little bit difficult to use on a large scale. My suggestion is if you have a few animals get the free version and rock on. I've put in ticket on the glitches and it seems their answer is "It's a known problem we hope to have corrected in the future". Well that's great but when I can't print a price list, or have a way to separate my breeders from my for sale babies when choosing a sire and dam for breeding its a problem. I don't what to scroll through 500 animals to find the one Pastel enchi that bred that female. Also there are things that are available in the all animals tab that isn't in the species specific tabs I should have to go through all my animals to print a cage card for one ball python.
Like I said use the free version if you have only a few animals till they get these problems corrected.

I only have a few animals and I use it. I like it. I can see how it could be annoying if you have a lot of animals. The menus aren't always intuitive which makes navigating a pain. That being said, it's useful for what I use it for (feeding schedules, keeping track of waste production, measuring size, etc).

Re: HerperPro Review
I've been using this product for about six months. I like it for the most part. I only have 20 or so animals (I don't include babies because they have their own information that I do by hand in excel), so it's fairly easy to keep track of. I keep an excel spread sheet as well (I don't want to lose information so I keep a copy online, a copy on my computer, and a hard copy). My biggest complaint is that most of my breeders have "names". however, it sorts the entries by their entry number. I can't sort my animals alphabetically like I have on my hard copy, so it's very hard to update my data when I transfer from my hard copy into the program. I don't use near as many of the features as I could, but it's mostly helpful. I'll probably stick to my excel spreadsheet here pretty soon. With my number of animals growing, it's proving more difficult to update data because of the inability to sort by nickname.
Point of clarification: I say you can't sort by name, but you can. However, when I update feeding records on a mass scale, I like to use the arrow button to move to the next animal. That button does not move to the next animal listed alphabetically, but it goes to the next animal on the HerperPro ID system.
