    BP switched to live???

My 2yr old pastel who would always eat every week up until about 2 months ago is driving me nuts.

She stopped eating F/T small rats every week. after 6 weeks she had a noticeable size drop estimated 50-100 grams.

    Still drinking, urates and poops...

She ate adult mouse live, and i tried the next week a F/T mouse, no luck.

She's in a rack with a bunch of other BP's and they all eat like champs.

about 3 weeks back i thought maybe she was crowded and put her in a larger tub, no luck still

obviously the temp/humidity is good for the rest of the snakes so its got to be good for her.

Any thoughts? really isnt cost effective to keep feeding live because its a 20 min ride to the only local live feeder store.

Hello, Ball Pythons are known to go off feed. The more you try to get her to eat, the more stressed she might get. She will eat when she wants to eat. I wouldn't worry about her as long you have the temp and humidity right.

They will do that. Mine were on f/t for a long time to then one day wanted live. If u want to keep her on f/t try tricking her by rubbing the f/t in some used rat bedding and blow dry the head so the snake can sense the heat.

Tried using one live then a ft after..No bedding... Always use a dryer to warm them.
