Question About The WV Dangerous Animals List

Hey guys, so first of all, here is the link: http://apps.sos.wv.gov/adlaw/csr/rea...971&Format=PDF

If you go to the reptile section of the list, at the end if lists the Boidae (Boa) family. It lists snakes such as anacondas, burms, and retics, but I see nothing about red tail boas or boinae. Does that mean red tail boas/dumerils boas arent on the list? of when it lists "boidae" it means all boas are on the list, but they only highlight a few? Sorry if this seems confusing, i am just trying to figure out if i need a permit for my boas!

    Thanks

Re: Question About The WV Dangerous Animals List

The boa constrictor species is not on the list, though if you read through my other thread on this legislation, which has info on what is on the list as well as where/how to submit public comments, you can see exactly what is on it.

The public comment period ends at the end of the month so get yours in quickly!
