    Reason for "Clearing Up"

My Ball Python is in shed and I was wondering why Ball Pythons get so dull and clear up. It's kind of weird and I don't see the reason or cause of this happening. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

the dull/fuzzy skin and blue eyes are caused by fluids between the old skin and the new layer underneath.
near the end of the process, this fluid dries up, hence it's "clear" again.

They go bluish and dull because fluid builds up between the old and new skin. Going clear just means the layers are separated and fluid's been broken down again.

That makes sense. So the fluid is spread throughout the body to lift off the old skin. Thanks for the information!
