What did I find in feces/urates?

So I'm not exactly sure what I found when cleaning a cage the other day. Does anyone know exactly what it is? I think I know, but I'm afraid of the answer.

hmmm... lol never seen anything like that - looks almost like partial digested bone. I looks (shape wise) like hemipenes (if that's what you're worried about) but I doubt very much they could detach so I am confident in saying that that's not what you have haha, could be a strange urate or sperm plug formation. You have me stumped lol

Looks to me like its sperm plugs; they sometime come out when a snake goes to the bathroom. I don't suppose the snake that left it is a male is it??
    I've got quite a few...

From the sound of your internet voice, you didn't find it in your Albino's cage, huh...

    its a male.

i dont really know how and i dont want to know, i guess the nooks and crannies just fill up with dirt over time until it eventually gets ejected.

basically when you probe them to determine the gender and the probe goes in much deeper on either side when its a male.... and then imagine filling all that with gypsum which solidifies.... thats what you get. except that instead of gypsum its some groce mix of different things, including shed.

    yes its called sperm plugs.

Yeah, it wasn't found in my albino's cage...

Any chance it can be from a female?

No big deal if not, I bought "her" initially as a male, then before shipping she was resexed as a female by the breeder. I just need to change plans and invest in another snake . I don't plan on breeding for another 2.5-3 years anyways when I'm not going out to sea anymore.

When life gives you sperm plugs, invest in another snake!

Re: What did I find in feces/urates?

I've pulled on of these things out of my now male normal bp Levi. Sold to me as a girl but after seeing this thing and probing him he quickly became a boy lol. Check out my thread about it. I was thoroughly confused when I saw it. It's kind of like a genital shed. Bunch of old dried sperm build up in there and eventually it sheds out. Hope this info is helpful. I would probe your snake though and make sure of the gender. When I probed mine it went in 9 scales deep so I knew for sure he was male, could never pop him because he was good at holding in his goods lol.

Yep, as others have said, that looks like sperm plugs or just plain ole hemipene gunk!
