Help!! My humidity is way low, like 35%. I recently switched to a larger tank, 40 gallon long and now I can't get my humidity up. I do use a digital therm. I've got moss in the tank, water dish and half the tank covered with plexiglass, I'm misting but the temp (humid ) goes down as fast as it goes up. Because of the size of the tank I needed to put a small heat lamp on the cold side along with the hot side heat lamp and human heat pad. I know heat lamps wipe out humidity but I need both of them to keep my heat up,( hot at 90-93 / cool at 78-81 ). Tryed wet towels, did not work. My quesions are, is there any kind of humidity maker out there that I can put in the tank, ? also will this low humidity hurt my girl in any way?? I've got to get it working before her next shed.
