Yes I have pics, but first the story.
So last night I couldn't sleep because I knew I needed to get up at 4 am to get to work super early for an assignment, and of course what better time for insomnia?
So I was just lying there about 3 am half day dreaming half dozing, and I realized my boa was across my lap. Since I only have one and she's always been a sweetie I wasn't afraid. I was mildly amused she had figured out how to escape, and I thought well better put her up before I really do doze off. So I slid my hands under her and went to pick her up and she bit my left hand and coiled around it. :/ In my half asleep state I just said "No snake!"
like I say to my son sometimes and grabbed her neck just below her head. She released my hand and seemed to go very submissive to me and let me just put her back in her tank without a struggle. Normally she hates to go back in but I think she was stunned at realising what she just did. Lol
My hand was a bloody mess and there is plenty of blood on my comforter but nothing too bad.
I think she was in hunting mode because I always feed at night, in the dark, and it's about that time again, and my hand must have moved very similar to a rat. :/
Sorry for the long post, just thought it was a good story.![]()
