    No Substrate?

I'm currently keeping all of my ball pythons on paper towel as substrate, and I'm planning to change out to a different paper towel substrate soon, some kind of bulk paper towels that come as one big roll without perforations or texture but still soft and absorbent. That's beside the point, what I'm concerned about right now is that one of my 11 animals is pushing all of her paper towel to the side of her tub and she's laying on bare plastic. I assume she's doing this to get better access to her heat and that changing her substrate won't change anything, I feel that she'll probably push anything aside. Am I right in assuming this or should I try something else anyway? Is there any harm in her laying on the bare plastic or is it perfectly fine as long as I keep her cage clean and dry? (By dry I mean no spilled water or urine, I keep humidity in proper range)

She'll be fine. Mine redecorate all the time. Have you checked her hot spot temperature to see if it's running cooler than the other tubs? Maybe the tape is damaged, or her tub is warped so it's allowing more air between the tape and the bottom of the tub than the others in the rack.
