    Wife got a hamster

Will my BP think there is food around all the time and want to bite my hand?

Not likely. Bp's aren't really aggressive eaters. Some snakes might get a big reaction, and is possible in bps, but most likely won't be an issue.

That being said. I wouldn't keep them close together. Even in the same room if possible.

Ok awesome I was tad bit worried although we do live in a one bedroom apartment. The hamster is in the bedroom and the snake it in the living room only separated by a door that is usually open all day

Just wash your hands if you're ever in a situation where you will be handling your snake after touching the hamster.

    A word to the wise.

If you do not feed your ball for several months, then play for a few hours with the hamster just before reaching for your ball python, yes you will probably get bitten.

Other than that, not likely. But there is always a slight chance.
