They are allowed to look up.

If she does that a LOT, or if she does other things that might indicate she has trouble telling up from down, that is when you get concerned, because it can indicate a neurological condition. Keeping their head up a lot can also be one of the symptoms of RI, because apparently it is easier for them to breathe in that position.

She doesn't do it very often. I check her for symptoms of RI and this would be the only symptom.

If she had an RI she would be doing it for long periods of time, and with her head and neck resting on something like he side of the enclosure so she wouldn't have to support herself.

My spider does that from time to time. When he wants to leave the rack he will shoot his way out and star glaze. But it's the wobble syndrome and not ri.

Yeah. With spiders it gets a little more complicated, cuz they start out with (apparently mostly harmless) neurological issues. So it might be hard to know if the stargazing a spider might do is just the wobbles, or a real problem. But OP's snake, from what little I can see of it, does not look like a spider.

There are quite a few thins in her tank. She does not do this when she is held only in her tank. She is a regular bp.
