Best Ball Enclosure? - Display, Compact, Professional, Dividing a Vision Cage?

So I am looking for advise on a good enclosure, visible rack system?

I am somewhat short on space. I currently have one BHP, one Woma Python, and am planning on acquiring three BPs. My BHP has a 6 foot vision cage, my woma has a 4 foot vision cage. I am looking for three stackable cages that are nice and compact that will look good alongside a vision cage.

I have two spare vision cages another 6 foot and 4 foot. I am considering trying to divide the 6 footer into three sections, has anybody done this before?

A really nice looking "rack type" enclosure would be fine. I feel like I have seen a rack system where the front was glass so the snakes could be seen?

Any opinions are greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Umm i couldnt picture a rack with front glass, but most have see through bins/tubs. I personally love the look of racks, very clean and tidy, aswell as EASY to clean! Sure you don't see the snakes, but thats what taking them out is fore.

Check out constrictors northwest... Many people rave about their proline cages. I am looking into getting a cserpents cage this year for my boa and many people have good things to say about his racks as well.

I could be wrong, but I don't think 2x2' would be big enough for a BP (adult female)... You could divide the 6' cage into 2 sections to accomodate adult BPs.. If they are small when you get them, dividing it into 3 sections might work temporarily, but I'd think figuring out where to put the hot spots would be an issue with it divided that much.

Animal plastics makes good looking PVC cages and they are pretty cheap, you might be able to purchase three of the smaller ones (4x2x1') for your BPs.

I have my first BP now and will probably end up doing a small rack system to accommodate her and any future BPs... She doesn't seem to come out much at all, so being able to view her like I do my boa isn't as important.

Thank you for all the input. I absolutely love constrictors northwest. I could contact the person who makes them but they had a notice up on their site that until they get caught up they are not taking any more requests. I am not really in a hurry though I have housing until they grow up.

I would have to do more research on exact size requirements, but I have quite a few friends who breed balls and whenever I see their rack systems it seems like there adults are crammed into small tubs. It bothered me at first, but they always make the claim that balls are so lazy they wouldn't use more space.

I personally know I would want to give my balls more space, but the vision cage I have is incredibly deep and tall. I was planning on doing some type of basking platform to almost double the space. I am not so worried about heat distribution. I am wondering what I could use to professionally divide them... plastic? Solid colored plexi glass?

I like the idea of being able to see my snakes, even if they are in their hide most of the time. If I can't find a good somewhat compact alternative I will probably end up buying a traditional rack system.

my personal opinion on this matter is that if you provide them with more space, branches, decorations and so on, the BPs will actually explore it all and make use of it.

in nature, even their hiding places are rather large and complex, in termite mounds or rhodent burrows you have different caves, and lots of tunnels connecting these, or they hide in human-created structures like sheds or barns. and then they have their hunting area where they go at night and try to catch something, and there may be some distance between these two places. they dont hatch with an appropriate hiding place and a good hunting ground, they have to figure it out by exploring.

in tubs, i imagine them going out at night, exploring the little box they are trapped in, and when they run out of stuff to explore, they might get back into the hide.

solid-colored plexi glass sounds like a good idea, platforms are also a good idea.

I have my adult male in a divided T8 and I can say he uses all the space some of the time. That is to say when he's hungry he's all over. When he's thirsty he goes for a drink. That being said he is mostly in his hides but he's shown a preference for opaque hides so I still see him just blurrier!

My hatchling female is in a 10 gallon tank until quarantine ends and she uses all the space a lot and doesn't really seem to concerned with ever using her hides but her tank is packed with waded paper too so she feels more secure.

My advice is to sell all of the current enclosures you have and that should cover the cost of one of these - Freedom Breeders

Thank you for all the replies. My woma and my BHP are very active. Always greeting me and exploring and I have heard balls are so lazy I didn't know what to expect. It is nice to hear some are a little more active than I thought.

There is a nice Freedom Breeders rack on my local CL for a good deal. I just don't know if I want to go for a rack I love seeing my snakes when I glance over to their enclosures.

I was hoping to find something that looked like a rack, as in same size and space but had a visible opening. Even pull out square tubs would be okay if they where a very clear non opaque material and had squared off corners.
