Fire female spending a lot of time on her side

I have a female fire that I breed to a male back in November and to this day she never laid a clutch of eggs for me but she is acting like she is gravid and continues to refuse food and lay on her side. Any suggestions what is going on with her. She was my best feeder before she locked up with my male.

Is she spending her time on the hot side or the cool side?

I think he's just saying the snake is physically on her side. Are you just asking hot or cold regardless?

When females start to grow follicles, they tend to seek out cooler temperatures. There is a method to the good doctor's madness.

    **twitches gently**

And after ovulation ( when they can really be called gravid ) they spend almost all the time hugging the heat.

Try palpating her, At first i thought it was difficult, but what i did was put a sock on my hand or a papertowel, and let her slide from your hands to the tank/tub.

Gently add pressure to her back and belly almost like pinching them together and you should beed bumps, near the end i could even do it from her sides and she looked like a full pea in a pod!
