Ive had my spider ball since 2007, hatchling in early 2007.. Ive never had any issues.... Till now..
I switched to tubs they are 51qt hefty tubs frome lowes.. I use undertank heat the premade flexwatt type, it covers 1/3 of the bottom.. My humidity has always been high(70% ish).. And as summer hits im adding more holes..
Anyway i use a small drinking dish that fits about 1.5 cups of water in it and a humid hide with moss.. The snake is now constantly dumping the water dish till i have sitting and pooling water in the tub. My heat levels are fine, and i cant see mites at all..
Should i try soaking anyway and see if i can see mites then? This has been happening for 2-3 weeks, ate a medium rat the week before and a medium rat the 2nd week in.. This snake has always been on n off with feeding but the constant soaking of the tub is upsetting, the bp has gone through two digital readers for indoor/outdoor with humidity gauge already..
