    right now i feed him 3 adult mice once per week, and was wondering if this was too little, too much, or the right amount.

    A lot of people on here would tell you to go ahead and switch to rats, that way you'd only have to feed one rodent rather than 3. If he won't take rats, then what you are doing is fine, although 3 sounds like a lot for one 'sitting.'

    If it's leaving a lump and they roughly equal the widest part of his body - you're okay. My bp eats up to 3 in a feeding (depends on his mood I guess).
