Feeding mice back to back- digestion.

There are a couple of breeders who swear by this method that I will describe, but I was curious on anyone's experience or real thoughts on it other than the specific breeder's own because they are a bit backwater.

They never size up their ball python's food- ever. Just feed more and more mice, back to back. Up to 4-5 in each breeder female a sitting, which could be a couple times a week. I was pretty sure this was harder on their digestion process, but I am unsure. I do not plan on doing this ever to that extent, but I have a sub-adult platty female (Genesis) who really loves mice. For some reason it has been hard to get her onto rats, believe it or not. I have tried a few different methods to make the rat more appealing but for now I was just going to ask is it okay to feed two mice in a sitting if their girth is well equipped to handle it and I am carefully, carefully watching their intake/output? She's growing like a monster and could take down a small rat, but prefers mice for now. Has anyone ever done this? I haven't tried it, yet and won't until I get a better opinion on its effects. Thanks for reading.
