    Poop and snakes

    Hey everybody!
Just a quick question. I just fed my BP two rat babies on Thursday. On Wednesday, I looked around her enclosure to make sure that it was clean and it was. She has not pooped in about 2 weeks so I now she is due for one! Since I do not want to bother or handle her when she is digesting her meal, I am wondering if she might have had a BM in her hide? If she did, would she still feel the need to stay in her hide? I do not want her to get sick by chilling in an area with poop in it. I usually wait 72 hours before I handle her so hopefully she is not spending that much time sitting in her feces.
One more question. She weighs 230 grams. Are two rat babies an appropriate amount to feed her? Her girth is bigger than the rat baby so that is why I feed her two in one sitting.
If anybody can chime in and let me know, I would appreciate it.
    Thanks!
    Todd

They'll poop in their hide and sit right next to it and not be bothered. Also, you can take her out to clean up after her if you want. You don't have to wait 72 hours. I wouldn't recommend taking her for a walk in the park, but limited handling will not harm her a bit.

As far as feeding size..."rat baby" doesn't really tell us much. Next feeding take a pic and we'll be able to tell you if it looks about right...

I know when my girl has to poop, I handle ger for a while and let her roam around. That always gets it going for her. And i only wait 24 hours after feeding to handle. Never a problem
