    Question About Cleaning Snake Tubs

Hi everyone, I use kraft paper for the substrate and I am wondering what everyone cleans their tubs with?

    Thanks,
    Alan

Re: Question About Cleaning Snake Tubs

When I clean my tubs out fully (like if I am going all out) with hot soap and water and let them dry or just wipe them out with paper towels. OR you can try "Zoo Med" WIPE OUT 1 Cleaner, you spray it and let it dry. Make sure it is completely aired out before putting the animals back in though. When I picking up the wonderful weekly leftovers, I just remove my animal, spray the cleaner on paper towel- remove the feces and the substrate- wipe down area affected, when dry replace animal. Not sure if that is what you were looking for but I tried my best xD Hope it helped!

EDIT: I use regular old paper towels, and just remove the towels sheet by sheet when they make "messes"

Re: Question About Cleaning Snake Tubs

A fair number of members, including myself, use F10SCXD (a cleaner - use first) in conjunction with F10SC (a disinfectant - use second). Both can be purchased from Reptile Basics Inc (http://www.reptilebasics.com/cleaning-products).

If you decide to go this route, make sure you follow the instructions in terms of both dilution and length of contact time for effective use.
