How can I make or where could I get a dehumidifer?? The reason I'm asking is that is that today we cut off the a/c in the house and opened up some windows to get some fresh air and it was nice outside. I checked on Junior's humidity and it was 78. Which is good at this time cause last night I went to get Junior out and his eyes was cloudy and skin really dull so I left him alone, and misted his tank. Now, when he's not in shed and my wife wants to do the open window thing how do I keep the humidity from getting so high?

The humidity inside the tank will be like the humidity outside. I know you can get a dehumidifier from Sears, Lowes, or someplace like that. I wouldn't imagine you could make your own, but i've never thought about it. As long as the humidity isnt very high for extended periods of time you should be just fine. If you are concerned about it, you could try moving more air over and around the enclosure to keep it from sitting and getting stagnant.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Also, as we're coming up on fall pretty quickly, your ambient humidity will be dropping. A fan close to the cage will help evaporate some of the humidity and keep the air circulating. You can also pick up one of these or these to help keep it down. (Or search Google for other options.)
