Crawling around in the bathroom lastnight was the snakey that had vanished without a trace for four months! I was so delighted I could hardly believe it! I thought one of my other snakes had escaped and when that did not turn out to be the case, I look at the pattern! It is poor little Hissy Fits! I'm sooo happy! She is dehydrated and has lost a lot of her weight, but that will be rectified soon!

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Put her in a shallow, lukewarm soak for at least a day - it will help with the dehydration problem.

That's fabulous, Raj! I don't think I've ever heard of one being lost for that long and then being okay when found. You won the snake lottery or something! I am so happy for you.

YAY MARLA!!! She is bony as anything, but a few rats down that throat will fix all of that. I could not believe my eyes! I mean, I tossed the whole apartment outside and searched for months! And as I finally stopped thinking of her, voila. You could have knocked me down with a feather! I feel like singing, except I can't sing to save my life
