Hasn't used his hides in days and hasn't eaten all month

I've had Dante for almost a year now. He went from 250g to 2.2kg and has taken food (f/t) easily; until recently. He started turning down rats 6 weeks ago. In that time I've offered 4 large rats. He was consistently eating large rats for a few months prior. By guidelines they're a fine size for him, but I feel like he'd more readily take mediums every 7 days as opposed to a large rat every 10 days...He pooped recently but hasn't shed in almost 2 months, and isn't showing signs of needing to either.
Anyways, he's still not dropping weight and looks/sounds healthy. I'm not terribly worried, but I am curious because he also hasn't used his hides in days. When he did this a while back I thought he had outgrown his hides (usually a good chunk of his body hangs out, hah) so I upgraded one and tried it on the cold side and hot side. He seemed partial to the small one regardless so I put his old one back. And now- he's using neither! He is out all day every day, stretched out. Can someone explain this behavior?

    Husbandry details:
    humidity: 45%-54%
    hot side: 90F
    cold side: 80F
    ambient: 75F-82F

Have you done a complete scrub down, 100% clean everything, Sometimes if they deifcate a few times and they "smell" it they will go on a fast until they get a new home (like in the wilds) try doing a complete clean, fresh substrate steam and clean all hides, and wait a week! same as girls who just lay eggs, will not eat unless you clean and remove scent
