    Health concern

My BP missed a feeding, he's been burrowing non stop and now he is out and he keeps opening his mouth. It looks like his face is starting to shed....should I be concerned.

I'm a first time owner, been around them all my life but never owned one!

Missing one feeding is no problem at all.
Do you know for sure that he is shedding? We're his eyes bluish milky looking a few days ago? Most BP's won't eat if they are in shed. Wait until after he sheds and try feeding a day or so after.

Please keep an eye and hear on him, opening to breath out of mouth is fine during shed, but make sure issue doesn't persist as it could be signs of R.I please do not freat about it, but just keep cautious about it.

listen for a constant whistle or thick breathing noise (not just 1-2 huffs but always)

aswell look for mucus or slim around mouth. If possible open and look inside make sure its clear.
