    Moved the snakes

I just had to share these pics because to non-snake people it's insane, lol. It took almost an entire two horse trailer to move everything! All the snakes were packed in bags inside coolers (in the truck not the trailer). It ended up being a lot easier than I thought it would be!

If you ever need to move a large amount of snakes bags and coolers are the way to go! There were enough warm snakes in the coolers they stayed at 75 degrees for several hours. If you have a long trip or few snakes bottles of warm water will keep the coolers warm all day.

Having had to move my entire personal collection several times the last few years, I second the cooler method! I usually snag some shipping heat packs and then bag all the snakes, and stack all the tubs separately from the rack. Keeps everything a bit more light weight.

    Looks efficient! Thanks for sharing

Glad it went well for you. I could easily see this becoming an issue if I ever move.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
