You can't tell what line a pastel came from just by looking at it. Although it is true that certain lines tend to have certain traits, it is possible to have a snake from a certain line that really doesn't have those traits, while a snake from a different line might show the traits more even though it isn't from that line. If the person you got it from didn't know or didn't tell you what line your snake came from, you'll never know.
