I know that most will recommend a herpstat, but at this point I am interested in possibly getting a Johnson control thermostat or a big apple thermostat being that my collection is growing and I want to have a final number before I go for the herpstats.

What are your thoughts and experiences with the big apple thermostats and the Johnson control thermostats? Are they accurate? Do they fail easy? All thoughts/ experiences good or bad on either the johnson thermostat or the big apple thermostat are appreciated.
