    My escape queen

This little girl is the greatest escape artist i ever had!!! She somehow pushed her tub out and managed to get into the grating of the spaces above her. I had to take part of a rack apart to even attempt to get to her. I couldnt get in there to get her out so i stood there in a 90 degree room for 45 minutes waiting for her to poke her head out! Longest 45 minutes of the day!!!!
When i first got her she would pop the locks off the top of the 10 gallon quarintine tank she was in all the time. I ended up putting my sons rock collection on top just to keep her in...
Any body else got a harry houdini at home????

Yep! That's about the way my daughter does it. It's just through a window instead.

What is the reason for having a 90 degree room?

I don't use heat tape or anything. I just heat the room.

It doesnt need to be 90 degrees in there. Ive kept mine around 80 and havent had any problems. Its even gotten down close to 75 and no problems.

Its actually 87 in there. I have never had any issues feeding, breed or anything else. I had 1 girl with an URI, but I think she had it all ready when I purchased her.
The thought of heat tape or thermostat malfunction always freaked me out.

18 years? too late. the laws should now prevent any attempts of containment. at least thats how it is in Germany, i dont know about your laws, maybe the magic number in your case is 21. dont try too hard, she will eventually gain the legal right to defy you in the most brutal way.

about BPs, well, you always need to take into account that they have a lot of free time and can get bored and do have some power in their body. give them a way to escape and they eventually figure it out.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.
If you disagree, send me a PM.

The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.
