    Ball python T-shirts

Anybody know a place where I can get a really cool ball python shirt? I've been wanting one for a while and I can't seem to find one that I really like.

I wish they would do tshirts for project 184 (it was a snake rescue operation that happened in South California). They did a really cool logo for it and I wish they'd make shirts for purchase.

    This is their logo:

Cafe press. Just put 'ball python' into the search engine and you'll find tons of stuff.

What kind of tshirt design are you looking for? We are just starting to print tshirts (so far we are only working with light sensitive ink and photographic negatives). We are in the very early stages of printing shirts, so I don't have many designs done so far, but would love to try and figure out something people would like. Here is one of our prints....I'm planning on adding some other morphs to our portfolio soon, I just need to find time to take pics and edit the negatives...

for making your own t-shirts, you really need to look at screen printing. its not that difficult, and the awesome advantage is that you can choose whatever paint will work best and last the longest on the fabric of the shirt. so the process does not determine the kind of paint or ink you use, and you can determine how much you put into the fabric and how deep you push it in.

the wikipedia article is a good starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_printing . basically all t-shirts where the print lasts forever are printed this way. there also are helpful tutorials on youtube. the only drawback is that you need to print each color independently.

i think you can find some excellent stuff at reptile shows. but this one doesnt seem to be screen printed. so it has nice colors now, but i can tell from experience that these unfortunately dont tend to last long.

    Re: Ball python T-shirts

I turn all my shirts inside out before washing. My wardrobe pretty much consists of concert t shirts , and printed shirts like the one I got at Tinley. They hold up fine washed on cold, turned inside out. I have shirts over 10 years old that barely look a year old.

the experience i make is that t-shirts where you have the colors digitally (inkjet?) printed into a layer of white paint often wash out and/or the paint starts to crumble, while screen printed t-shirts really last ages. but im also far less careful with my t-shirts.

i like to buy from threadless, they recently introduced a new printing process, but most of their stuff is still high-resolution screen printed, often with 4 colors or more. https://www.threadless.com/catalog/s...tegory,Animals
