    Possible URI?

So my young snake made a strange noise a few days ago. of course, since it woke me up in the middle of the night I jumped right on the Internet and tried to figure it out. so of course, everything pointed me in the direction of a possible URI.After some more research into the symptoms it got confusing. He had no mucus, he ate well the night after, when I held him he made no noises ( no wheezing clicking or squeaking) and when I held him up and listened to his breathing it was normal. he is still moving around the tank and moves In N Out of his hide regularly he's also taking a liking to the top Vine area of the enclosure which is the first time he's done that but that doesn't bother me... he hasn't made the noise since and he is as docile as he normally is. I am thinking that it may have just been a reaction to the humidity but like any 'parent' I'm worried about my baby. Any and all help will be appreciated thank you.

P.S. the tank has non dusty bedding and the temperature is normal in the humidity is around 60 all the time and I cleaned the tank after he did that and he stopped making that noise. And when I caught him making the noise and turned on the light he immediately stopped and acted like he didn't do anything at all.

Doesn't sound like you need to do anything but keep an eye on it as you have been doing.

Shedding or retained shed can cause them to squeak and pop etc from the nose so we always look for more than one sign before worrying about RI's.

If it was loud enough to wake you up, he may have farted. Yes, snakes do that and it can be rather disconcerting the first time you hear it.
