    Drymarchon melanurus

These little ones are my newest fascination! This pair of 2012 black tail cribos was purchased from a fellow out of Arizona, and were produced by Robert Harper. Funny thing is, Robert lives about 90 minutes away from me!

    Just a tad blue...

    Their tongues are massive!

    I love the head scalation:

    Clean ventral scales:

The smaller of the 2 is the male, Coal. The female is Negra. I have only had these guys for a couple of weeks, and they are just going into shed now, so there will be more pictures to follow.

They are amazingly difficult to photograph solo...they are incredibly fun snakes though! Super active, quick, and they make me change their cages daily.

Thanks! They have been on my list for the past 2 years, and finally set my mind on keeping them last year. Then I missed my opportunity to get a pair, and sent some feelers out and a nice gentleman replied with this pair and I couldn't pass them up!
