    Anyone use dry shampoos?

I decided I'm going to stop using shampoo and conditioner and try using a DIY dry shampoo. So far it looks likes it's going to work great!

This was after I didn't wash my hair for 3 days and used the dry shampoo, and my hair gets greasy over night with regular washing.

I'm using corn starch, cocoa powder, and baking soda. I really like it! The corn starch is the main oil absorber, the coca powder absorbs oil and smells good(yum), and the baking soda removes the smell of my natural oils.

I decided to try it because I had this spray

And I loved the way it made my hair feel and gave me a quick clean if I didn't have time to take a shower, but it was stinky.

I'm going to do this for a month and see how much I like it! Hopefully I won't have to buy shampoo and conditioner ever again(stuff gets expensive)
I wonder how my boyfriend will react when I smell like chocolate lol

I was actually thinking I might try this just the other day, but maybe with some curry powder added in. What do you think? Personally, I love the smell(and taste) of curry and curry chocolates, but now I'm thinking others might find it too strong or something.

I've found the smell doesn't last long because it doesn't absorb into your hair. I smelled strongly of chocolate for about an hour, but after the powder all fell out I just have the good smell of clean hair

I know some people will add essential oils to the mix to make their hair smell good.

Curry is so delicious! I may have to make my mom make that for dinner tonight now!

I will have to try this. I've used the suave stuff you have in your picture but you're right it does have a really really strong perfume smell. My hair too looks greasy overnight. Gets on my nerves lol.

It really sucks! Sometimes my boyfriend will call me and say "I'm going somewhere is 10 minutes, want to come?"
Of course, I'm not ready because my hair looks nasty, that was the main reason for the spray. Once I ran out, I started looking for other brands when I came across the diy stuff. Decided I already have all the stuff on hand, I may as well try it out!

Yep that's my problem too. That's why I kept the suave on hand but that stuff smells like you drenched yourself in perfume. It's given me a headache a few times.

Ya, the better smelling stuff is so expensive too!

I just realized who your avatar/icon thingy is and now I can't stop hearing Ichigo's voice while I'm reading this... it's weird to imagine him taking about hair...

    xD

I watched the entire anime in Japanese, so it's kinda hard for me to imagine his voice speaking english, I almost feel like I'm missing out lol
