Is this weird behavior for a BP????

The last couple of times we have fed Phred (our baby, currently at 140g), he hasn't gone into hiding like he used to (or like Matilda does every time). He eats and then immediately becomes really active just moving all over his enclosure. Is that weird? I thought that they went into hiding so that they could digest their food.Now, granted, I think he has outgrown his food and we will be switching to bigger feeders on our next order, but we still have a few of the smaller size left.

Yeah, I've actually witnessed similar bahaviour in BPs when their food starts getting too small for them,. They're essentially just looking for more food because they're still hungry!

That's what I had assumed, but I can't get him to eat two feeders at the same feeding. I'm switching him to every four days until the rest of the fuzzies are gone and then I will move him up in food size.

Mine is acting the same way and I thought the same thing. Last night I get her a 39 gram rat. She only weighs 272 grams. That is kind of large for her weight, bit she was still active last night and very active today.
