My BP recently experienced a very mild stomach burn from her heat pad. All she experienced was a slightly pink belly. She tends to burrow right down to the glass in her warm hide which caused her to burn just a bit. Since i noticed her pink belly, i changed her substrate to jungle bark which she hasn't been able to push around as well to get down to the glass. I am working on getting a thermostat for her to regulate the pad temp, but for the time being i have been checking her multiple times daily to make sure she is on top of her substrate and now her belly is back to normal in terms of colour. That being said, i think her belly scales are a bit dry and wrinkly in appearance. I am just wondering if this is due to the burn healing and if i should expect the scales to be back to normal after a shed or two. There is no discoloration indicating scale rot or anything, and her humidity hovers around 50% so i dont think the dryness would come from lack of humidity.\i can provide pictures if needed, however for now i was just wondering if any of you have any experience with this, if i should seek medical attention or not. but like i said, it was a very mild burn leading to a slight pink hue on her belly.

Thanks.
