    Rubs

Would a 24.5 litre rub. Be ok to house an adult BP.

    I'm starting a rack.

    Cheers

What are the dimensions of the tub?

For an adult BP you want a tub that measures around 80 cm x 40 cm (length x width) as for height anything around 12 cm tall or more should work

That's on the small side. I would try to find something a little bigger. If you can't find anything bigger then it could work, but it really isn't ideal.

apart from the "rub" and the overall problems with understanding the posts, i would say it sounds awfully small for an adult BP.

my experience (i am metric) tells me that 24.5 liters is not much, and my online unit translator, which can deal with multi-dimensional unit conversions (wolframaplha) tells me its 6.5 gallons in volume. that sounds rather small for an adult.

if modeled into a perfect cube, this volume would translate into a cube of edge length: 29 centimeters, or 0.95 feet, or 11 inch. thats tiny.

so the answer is clear: its too small

Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.

RUB stands for Really Useful Box, I believe it is a brand of tubs in the UK.

40 cm x 60 cm x 16 cm roughly == 16 in x 24 in x 6 in which means it has more floor space than a 20 long tank, (360 square inches for the 20 long, and 384 square inches for this tub) and is almost identical to a 28 quart tub (metric equivalent)

So chill. I agree that this tub is on the small side, but it isn't nearly as bad as you are making it out to be.

that translates into 38.4 liters, or 10.14 gallons, which is significantly larger and more acceptable. this may be the discrepancy between volume inside, and outside measurements. anyway, your numbers lead to a much better result than what the original poster is suggesting with the numbers he is giving. 10.14 gallons is definitively better than 6.5 gallons, but i dont see how its based on what OP said.

my answer to Seamo is clear: go bigger, especially for females, especially for breeding

28-32 quarts is what a lot of people use for males or sub adult females under 1500g. Your females will outgrow it eventually.
