    Producing eggs

Just depends on the female. Some can go by their 2nd winter, most are mature by the 3rd. 1600-1800 grams is a good starting weight.

    Re: Producing eggs

I should have worded my question better. Once a female is old enough to breed, how many more years from that point can she continue to produce fertile eggs? Till she is 10, 15 years old or her entire life?

    Re: Producing eggs

I know it is at least possible with a 20 year old female as mine laid 9 eggs a week ago.
