Underweight/ill hatchling

About a month ago I took home a hatchling was sent into the shop I work at by a company which will remain unnamed.. The snake had a feeding record with two random dates but no indication about what those dates mean. At my work we write the date and hatched/shed/1p (1 pinkie) etc on the feed records so that it's clear. He's not looking so great and wasn't even flicking his tongue at scented mice/rats so under the instruction of a vet I assist fed him, it was as if he didn't know how to eat but he shimmied it down to his tummy and kept it down. My worry is that his irate is green, I've read that it could be an indication that he hasn't eaten in a very long time, is this correct?
Just wondering if anyone has ever had a snake like this and if the outcome was a positive one?

I've seen green'ish urates/poo before but I have no idea what it means. I would suggest keeping up the assist feeds until he figures it out. I've had several hatchlings over the years that needed help getting started, but once they figure it out, they feed as well as any other bp...

Just by looking at him he is under fed and maybe dehydrated. I would keep up with assist feeding not force feeding. There is a difference. Since he is so bad off i would assist feed him a pinky rat every 4-5 days and then move up to a fuzzy then so forth. We have had to do the same thing with hatchings. Some pick up on it quick others take a little longer. Have patience and everything will be alright.
