    Thermometer Advice?

Hey guys, so I’m looking for a digital thermometer and humidity gauge to put inside my ball python’s enclosure.
I was looking at the AcuRite 613 Indoor Humidity Monitor.
    http://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-613-In.../dp/B0013BKDO8
It’s not made for reptiles or anything but what do you guys think?
Also, any ideas about safe mounting of it to the tank?

    Thanks

I don't like that particular model, but I do like this Acu-rite:

    http://www.wagnerware.com/ProductDet...rod=100&PSub=5

The probe goes on the floor of the hot side of the cage, and the unit itself sits on the cool side. It will measure hot and cool side temperature as well as humidity.

I've been using these. They are pretty accurate when checked against my temp gun. Plus they are inexpensive enough I keep a few spares on hand.

That was actually pretty funny. I think he meant to send you this link: http://m.acurite.com/thermometer-with-wired-probe.html

You can find them at Wal-Mart for $12 bucks (or you can order them from Wal-Mart's site).

I just got one of the accurite ones ($12 version mentioned) and I almost cried. Thank God my UTH is on a thermostat, because the sticky digital thermometers that I have been using were WAY off (I even bought a temp gun afterward b/c I couldn't believe that they could be that far off). My poor babies rarely went in their warm hides and now I know why! Any way, the accurite thermometer is awesome! Love the probe and that it tells both temps.
