um i just made one it looks kinda sloppy but it will do the job. um i put it inside the tank but should i take it out until he goes into the blue or can i keep it in their for the whole time?

Either way - I've heard some people leave it in all the time. Just make sure he's not spending too much time sitting on wet moss, etc - watch out for scale rot, etc.

i leave mine in all the time but that's only because i need it to keep the humidity where i want it to be.
