    Milestone or not

Today my BP balled up for the first time in months. This morning i went to check on him under his cave. I lifted the cave and their he was in a ball. I was kinda freaked out but his body wasnt excessivly cold and the terrarium was warm.

    Re: Milestone or not

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't expect them to ball up because they're cold. That works for us because we're warm-blooded, but I don't think it would do anything if you're (more or less) the same temperature as your environment.

It can be a defense mechanism, so maybe it was scared or otherwise unhappy, but sometimes they just hang out like that. I guess that's a comfortable position if you're a fat little snake, haha.
