    L@@k!!

i woke up this morning and i found a pee nugget so i picked it up with a glove and cleaned that spot. then i went to go find reeses and i found a 3" long peice of poo in his cool hide. man i cleaned both the spots and checked the rrest of the tank. man this was digusting because the poo was still squishy. but the pee nugget was alright. the next time he poos we are taking him to the vet(just to check him out of course) and then he is really set. this was an enlightning expeirience lol.

    Sorta cool or not

You can prolly just submit the fecal sample without having to stress the snake out by putting him in the car. I'd call your vet and ask about that first.

    REALLY WEIRD BUG

If you're only getting a fecal done, you don't need an appointment to take the snake in. Just whenever the snake goes, take the sample in. It doesn't take long to do a fecal, trust me, I've done tons. Besides, poo is poo regardless of where it comes from, so the fresher the better. If you can't get the sample to the vet right then, stick it in the fridge in a baggie or something. I've done fecals on my rats, found parasites on one of them(got her from Petco, *gag*), went to my vet, told him what she had and what I needed, and he gave it to me. No big deal. No real reason to stress the animal out by taking it to the vet for just a fecal. And who wants a fecal loop stuck up their bottom anyway?

not me that's for sure! although, i get a laugh every year when i take my cat for her yearly check up and shots. the vet puts a little petroleum jelly on a q-tip and  SURPRISE! gets a little fecal sample or whatever to look at under the microscope. the look on phoebie's face is just priceless every time.

haha you think watching it is bad... TRY DOING IT!! i have to do it at work all the time. i feel so bad for the poor animals!! you should try watching when they have to do a urine analysis.... imagine a male dog getting a looooooooooooooooooong skinny tube stuck up the hole. haha wow, the things we do.

i was just curious if i should take in a fecal sample. i've never taken pandora to the vets before, and i dont know if her previous owner did either. i just want to get a check up just to make sure eveythings normal and that she's ok. i'll prolly just ask the vets when i call them..... thanks
