I recently received a Boaphile Ball Room Rack...4 tubs, two rows of heat tape. Unfortunately my ambient room temp needs to be around 70. I use a herpstat and there is a wild swing between the lower rack and the upper rack's hotspots. I have the herpstat at 103 and the lower gets too high at 96 while the upper hotspot doesn't get over 85. I was kinda trying to split the difference for the juvenile females. I am worried of turning it up more for the lower snake's health....but need to get the top drawer's hotspot higher. Any suggestions? insulation? (takes away from the nice look of this rack), UTH on the upper tub?? Thanks for any advice....be gentle this is my first post and I am new at this!!
