Music videos that are so awesome / intense / weird / ideal that you never forget them

i wanted the title of this thread to be a bit longer, and tried for things like "that you never really forget", but the character limit for thread titles is really rigid, so i had to go for a more sensationalist title.


anyway, just share the good stuff.

the idea is: when you manage to come up with awesome stuff, i will respond with awesome stuff. the genre of the music does not matter, as long as the music fits the video, and the video is excellent.

unfortunately the audio quality is not perfect. there is no cleaner version around right now. but since it features almost all youtube viral video stars up until 2008, this is quite hard to beat if you are a youtube fan. they really got them all. numa numa guy, the karate guy, tay zonday, mentos and coke, that dumb beauty queen, the "evolution of dance" dancer, chris crocker, everything, even memes from anonymous. if you are not a seasoned youtube-junkie, it might seem quite random.

its actually not the official music video. someone took footage from a french 2005 action movie and set it to the music. the footage is impressive because it contains no special effects, its the real deal. when filming they originally followed safety procedures, but gradually the gloves came off, in the end minimum distance to ground while filming was 3 meters (10 feet) and minimum distance between airplanes was 1 meter (3 feet). piloting is done by french air force test pilots.

its 100% exclusive footage, but the same studio also did "ghost in the shell", just in case you would like 3 full lenth movies and 2 anime series in a similar style. which reminds me of something....

i dont think rammstein is banned anywhere, except maybe for specific individual videos and tracks. and yes, they put a LOT of effort into every single video. but then, they also manage to go on a tour of sold-out concerts with ticket prices of 100+ dollars at large venues, and manage to end up making no profit because they blow it all on stage design, special effects, and pyrotechnics. i see how this individual clip could be banned, but with their actual music videos they seem to be a bit more careful.

sometimes, due to copyright nazis like EMI, it can be REALLY hard to find a certain video in any acceptable quality anywhere.

especially when its about pop music, and i want to respond with this one to the k-pop videos
