    desert male question

    If i were to breed my desert male to a female, a different morph a course. Would the females from that clutch Be able to reproduce? Or they wouldnt because they Carry the males genes?? What are some good females tp breed the desert into?? Thanks for reading.

    Hi,

    Any female offspring that carried the desert gene ( no matter what else they carried ) wouldn't be able to breed as far as we have seen.

    And desert enchi's are stunning.

    7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.

    better to have a female or male what?

    From a reproductive standpoint its better to have a desert male as they can actually produce offspring...desert females dont produce viable eggs...so far...
